Friendships...well actually F#@* buddies

Lately I've experienced something that I haven't encountered since elementary or middle school. Three different people ended their friendships with me. To be totally honest they were a little more then just friends. I'd call them buddies! But I thought as grown adults people were supposed to work out their differences and save the friendship. I can't remember the last time that ever happened. It used to be cause I was gay but these supposed "friends" were gay too. So what does that say about me? Well, I've changed. I no longer have the same tastes for men that I used to. It changed when I thought what it would look like if I brought someone home that was closer to my dad's age then to mine. I now look for guys that are my age so that we can go through similar things together and that old saying of growing old together! Plus focusing on some addictions I may have has made me rethink what I want in a relationship. I used to think it was always about chemisty but now I also want a more emotional connection.

July Highlights

-4th of July weekend which consisted of a pool party where I met a guy that resembled Kenny Chesney. I then went to a bigger pool party up in the hills of Riverside where I met a sexy looking surfer with long blond hair except he was a bodybuilder who is hoping to become a professional athlete. He's really my type and he just added me as a friend on myspace. I can't believe anyone still uses myspace! July 5th was a continuation of the 1st pool party.

-Working

-Skating

-My brother and his family from Portland came to Disneyland so I took a bus down there to see them. We went to the hotel pool, had dinner at Rainforest Cafe where my neice was scared of the thunder, and then I got snuck into California Adventure. We got to ride Soarin' California, Tower of Terror and dance in the street. My Grandma just informed me that dancing in the street was my nieces favorite highlight! Ahhhh
